WIOA brings together, in strategic coordination, core programs with federal investment in jobs and skill development:
- One-stop employment and training services for adults, dislocated workers, and youth;
- Wagner-Peyser Act employment services administered by the U.S. Department of Labor through formula grants to states;
- Adult education and literacy programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education; and
- Vocational rehabilitation state grant programs that assist individuals with disabilities in obtaining employment administered by the U.S. Department of Education.

Go to: Rockland County Career Center – Description: A proud partner of the American Job Center were Veteran’s receive priority of service. The Rockland County Career Center supports the adult, dislocated worker population of Rockland County.
Go to: Youth Connections – Description: helping build a brighter future for eligible young adults up to age 24 through career exploration, education and employment. Located at the BOCES Educational Resource Center, this program offers paid work experiences, internships, vocational training, tutoring, and many more services under a collaborative effort with Rockland County Career Center.
